Studying: Level 3 Engineering
Cleo’s ambitions to pursue a career working with CNC machinery are getting closer by the day. This is thanks to the skills he continues to develop on his college course.
He moved from Italy to the UK two years ago and studied Level 2 Engineering. He is now about to start the second year of his Level 3 course.
“What I love about this course is the way you can learn in such a practical way,” said Cleo. “Getting used to working with CNC Programming, CAD Design makes me confident I can find a job in this industry.”
Cleo’s interest in engineering began as a student in Italy. This meant he did experience a period of adjustment as he got used to using equipment and machinery of a different design and make compared to what he had been used to.
Cleo has embraced the challenge, also completing GCSE English and maths.
