This website is run by Walsall College. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations:

  • Sliding Banner on Homepage: The banner has nested interactive controls that are not always announced by screen readers or can cause focus problems for assistive technologies. We use a tool that generates the banners and this tool is not fully accessible. We are exploring other tools or alternate methods of generating this content. Contact if you encounter an issue.
  • Alt Text on images: Some of our older content may not have alt text on images. We are currently working on adding alt-text to all images. When we publish new content, we will make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards. Contact if you encounter an issue or need some content to be updated.
  • Application Form: We know not all of our application form and course information is accessible. If you require assistance applying for a course please email
  • User Input Forms: There are a number of forms on our website i.e. contact us or newsletter. These forms are not fully accessible. We are working with the software vendor to make these as accessible as possible.
