Our team are available to attend your school’s careers events. We provide information and guidance of courses and routes into post 16 and HE study.

Our fun and interactive taster workshops are prepared to give students an insight into our popular vocational courses. Subjects include: Hospitality, Music, Fashion, Marketing, Dance, Games Art, Construction, Business, Health and Social Care, Photography, Early Years and Sport.

Discover the experience of college life at Walsall College through our captivating presentations. From large assemblies to small classes, our informative discussions encompass a wide range of topics. This includes: Apprenticeships, T-Levels, A-Levels, Vocational Technical Qualifications, Higher Education & much more.

Sometimes the best way for students to understand what college is about is for them to see it first-hand. Whether you spend a couple of hours at our Wisemore Campus or would prefer to use a full morning to discover our construction and engineering campuses, we can tailor a tour based on your students’ interests.

On 7th March & 20th June 2024, come and join us in a celebration of vocational courses. Students will be immersed into an exhibition festival, interacting with a variety of subject areas: Hospitality, Business, Health & Social Care... the list goes on! Through collecting stamps on each stand and getting a taster of our courses, they will be in with the chance of winning a goody bag full of some amazing prizes!

Our Young Chefs Academy is the perfect place to get students on their first steps towards a career in the hospitality industry. During this six-week course, our tutors will give students the knowledge to prepare and cook a wide range of starters, main courses and desserts. Full training and a free cookbook will also be on the menu. Cost: £49 with all ingredients and equipment supplied.

Accompanied by a professional chef, students create delicious dishes and get a taste of what our Cookery and Catering courses can offer. This workshop can take place in our industry standard kitchen facilities or we can stream it live to your classroom.

Students are invited to discover the world of travel, tourism and aviation. This interactive workshop incorporates role-play, practical work and theory to give students an insight into the variety of courses and careers available.

Putting your students centre stage, this workshop offers an insight into studying Performing Arts with a focal point on Acting or Dance. Using our state-of-the-art facilities, students are welcome to visit us at the College or we can bring the workshop out to your school.

Embark on a guided journey through our application process as we bring our expertise directly to your school. We offer assistance in submitting applications on a class by class basis. We additionally provide valuable interview tips and offer guidance on what students can expect from their college experience after applying.
