Black Country Chamber patronage renewed
Walsall College has renewed their patronage with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
Assistant Principal, James Norris said: “As Chamber Patrons, Walsall College is able to work more closely with employers to understand emerging business challenges, skills needs and the attributes their future workforce needs.
“Using their feedback, we develop our courses and training solutions and help organisations to recruit and train skilled, professional and enterprising workforces in the Black Country.”
He continued: “As one of the first colleges in the country to deliver the government’s new T Level qualifications, we will rely on the continued support of the Chamber’s network of local employers to deliver the industry placements that are integral to these new qualifications.
“We also deliver high quality services to employers, including a comprehensive range of apprenticeship training for new and existing staff, technical and professional qualifications to upskill the workforce, short courses for groups or individuals, university level courses, bespoke training and knowledgeable support for those companies who contribute to the apprenticeship levy.
“As a go-to employer services provider, the college is uniquely placed to influence local decision-making and drive positive change across the region.”
