Walsall College renews Chamber patronage

Walsall College has renewed their patronage with leading business support organisation, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
The college is home to more than 14,000 people studying vocational technical qualifications, apprenticeships and higher education programmes each year.
Assistant Principal, James Norris said, “Further education has a key role to play in our region’s post-Covid recovery.
“As Chamber Patrons, Walsall College can help employers access the essential skills to build on and future-proof their businesses.
He continued, “We’re also hoping to benefit from the continuing support of the Chamber’s local employer network, who enable us to deliver the industry placements integral to so many of our qualifications, including T Levels.
“We look forward to demonstrating the impact of these collaborations and our shared ability to drive positive change across the region.”
Jatinder Sharma OBE, FCCA – Principal & Chief Executive of Walsall College, joined the Black Country Chamber Board in December.
The Wolverhampton born accountant, a highly experienced leader, is Principal and Chief Executive of Walsall College, having previously held a number of senior positions in both private & public sectors.
