Spotlight shines bright on Walsall College teaching and learning best practice
Walsall College recently hosted the fourth annual Hear Me, See Me – Research in FE event for education professionals.
The event was organised by the Learning Skills Research Network in collaboration with Black Country Colleges and the University of Wolverhampton.
It provided a platform for college staff to promote their expertise, share best practices and discuss future advancements in learning and skills.
A marketplace section featured advanced practitioners and lecturers presenting research projects, pilot initiatives, vocational training techniques and innovative teaching methodologies. Topics ranged from sustainability and green skills to AI in education and strategies for enhancing English and maths learning.

Sarah Cattell, Workforce Development and Innovation Manager at the college said: “These events celebrate advancements in further education teaching practices as well as the important relationship between FE and HE.
