Summer learning opportunities with Walsall College
Walsall College is offering a whole new host of learning opportunities this summer for adults aged 19 and over.
The part-time courses, available both on campus or online, allow learners to complete, or make significant progress toward a Level 2 qualification over the summer. Level 3 courses are also available, providing learners with a head start on programmes that typically begin in September.
Many of the courses are free subject to a person’s household income.
“School’s not out for the summer if you don’t want it to be,” said a Walsall College spokesperson.
“Although the holiday season is coming, learners have told us they’re eager to begin or continue their student journeys as soon as possible. In response, we’ve launched new distance learning courses that can be completed by September.
“We’re also giving people the chance to get a head start on some of our sector-based courses, which can be studied for a few hours each week, allowing them to achieve their qualifications sooner than expected.
“So if you like the idea of fast tracking your future, take a look at what’s on offer.”
The list of new distance learning courses available to study are:
Level 2 Certificate in Allergy Awareness
Level 2 Certificate in Oral Care for Health and Social Care
Level 2 Certificate in Digital Marketing
