Spring 2021 sees the opening of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands.  Walsall College has been helping local jobseekers like David Pagett train for the emerging career opportunities this major new development will bring to the area.

“The course gave me a new ‘get up and go’ attitude,” said David.

“It showed me the best way to utilise my skills and how to demonstrate these to an employer when applying for jobs.

“I dreaded the thought of doing coursework as I’m dyslexic.  Yvonne, our tutor was marvellous; always understanding and able to come up with ways to make it easier for me to do everything I needed to.”

“The first interview I went for afterwards led a job offer that very same day.”
