Apprentice signmakers benefit from Signgeer support

Signmaking apprentices at Walsall College have been receiving gift boxes of tools and samples from leading manufacturers, Signgeer.

The selection of goodies will support the training and skills development of apprentices UK-wide who are studying the signage technician apprenticeship standard level 3.

Each gift box includes tools, a tape guide, samples and a cleaning guide for a wide range of different signage. After trying and testing out the different products including a squeegee, vinyl remover tool, air freshener, microfiber cloth, surface cleaner and glue remover solutions, the apprentices will share feedback with Signgeer.

Swan Barnaby, Vocational Coach for signmaking at the College said: “We are very grateful to Signgeer for this generous donation which will help encourage our apprentices to explore products best suited to their work.”
