Walsall College’s creative arts academics exhibition now on display

The collective talent and expertise of Walsall College’s creative arts academics is being showcased through a contemporary exhibition now open at The New Art Gallery, Walsall.
Between Here and There features a broad range of media by 15 lecturers, technicians and leaders.
This is the first time in recent years that college staff have exhibited together at the Gallery. Each artist has contributed works in a wide range of media, including photography, painting, printing and ceramics.
“The exhibition marks an exceptional moment in our college’s history,” said David Turner, Assistant Principal at the college, whose photography is also on show.
“For our creative arts faculty to come together and present themselves as artists first shows their deep commitment to their disciplines and to creative expression. It also demonstrates how they continue to have powerful perspectives on the world around them—perspectives that make the knowledge and skills they share with our creative arts students relevant, inspiring and impactful.
“We look forward to seeing how our students, their friends and families, our colleagues and of course art lovers across the wider community engage with the ideas, stories and messages on display.”
Between Here and There is open to the public until 8 March 2026.
