We welcome students with a wide variety of skills, experience and qualifications to study at a range of different levels.

As detailed below, we offer seven different levels of study, each with different entry requirements. We take pride in the quality of support we offer to our students as they progress through these stages.

Level 1 BTEC Awards/Certificates/ Diplomas, NVQ, VRQ No formal qualifications required
Level 2 Intermediate Level Apprenticeships,  BTEC   Awards/Certificates/Diplomas, NVQ, VRQ 4 GCSEs at grades D to G (including a curriculum related subject, English Language and/or Maths both at grades 3 - 1 on the 2017 grading system). Or successful completion of Level 1 related qualification. GCSEs
Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeships, BTEC Diplomas, Access to HE 5 GCSEs at grades C or above including English Language and/or Maths both at grade 4 or above on the 2017 grading system (some courses may require both, please check your individual course). Or successful completion of Level 2 related qualification. A Levels
Level 4 Higher National Certificates (HNCs), Higher Level Apprenticeships A-levels or successful completion of Level 3 related qualification or related industry experience and an interview. Bachelor Degree Year 1
Level 5 Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), Foundation Degrees Successful completion of Level 4 related qualification or related industry experience and an interview. Bachelor Degree Year 2
Level 6 Bachelor Degree final year/Top-Up Degree Level 6 Successful completion of Level 5 related qualification or related industry experience and an interview. BA (Hons)
