The campus is the hub for all construction multi-skills training, plus specific courses in bricklaying, carpentry, electrical installation, gas and plumbing, as well as painting and decorating.
There’s plenty of space all sorts of activities. Students, staff and visitors can socialise and hold meetings in our canteen area. There’s also a learning resource centre and hot-desk computer area.
Painting & Decorating
The Bell Decorating Academy contains ‘real life’ areas where students can paint walls, hang wallpaper, decorate doors, carry out woodwork and more.
Individual booths and wider spaces provide students with the equipment, tools and means to gain a full understanding of wiring procedures and safety regulations.
Our bright, spacious brick workshop is perfectly designed to provide a simulated building site experience where you can mix cement and work with a range of bricks.
This workshop is fully equipped with carpentry and joinery tools and equipment to give students a realistic flavour of what it takes to work on domestic and commercial building projects.
Our vast workshop space makes sure students develop the necessary hand-eye co-ordination skills and strength needed to become a professional plasterer.
Plumbing and Gas Workshop
This area contains simulated bathroom environments, as well as central heating systems where students can learn both modern and traditional plumbing methods.
