Richard Brennan - ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL – CURRICULUM

Richard has worked in further education for over two decades.

He first joined Walsall College in 1996 as a media and performing arts technician. Since then his career has included roles as media studies lecturer, curriculum manager, head of school and department director. He has managed departments spanning many subject areas including creative, hair & beauty, computing, business and academic studies.

Richard left Walsall College in 2013 to join Warwickshire College Group as the Director of Warwickshire School of Arts before returning  in late 2018 to take up his current post.

He is Chief Examiner for Creative Digital Media Production at Level 2 for Pearson and has held a range of quality assurance roles.  Recently, Richard has co-written text-books for Cambridge International qualifications in digital design and media through Harper Collins.
