Unsure of what off the job training is?
Off the job training is any activity that is not part of an apprentice’s day to day job which helps to support their apprenticeship training.
This must make up at least 20% of the apprentices normal working hours, allowing apprentices time to develop skills required to complete the programme.
The ESFA has said 'if employers don’t undertake this activity, we could completely remove their ability to use their levy funding. If they break the rules, they lose control.'
