Our 1 to 6 week programmes are delivered in partnership with a range of employers looking to develop their workforces. Not only does this pre-employment training provide you with new skills for specific sectors, but you can also complete a work placement, receive CV support and a guaranteed interview.
Programmes consist of three main components:
• Pre-employment training matched to the employer’s business needs
• Work experience placement to learn new skills on the job and gain valuable qualifications for the future
• At the end of the programme, learners are guaranteed either a job interview with an employer or help with the application process.

These courses are funded for unemployed individuals and those in work earning less than £34,000 per year*

Our 4‑week Employability Programme prepares local people for roles as Clinical Support Workers, Cleaners and Catering Assistants within the NHS. Participants receive bespoke, job‑focused training, support with applications, and interview preparation, alongside a valuable insight into working in the NHS.
Role‑specific training includes:
Clinical Support Worker roles: supporting patient care under the supervision of a registered practitioner, maintaining a safe care environment, and upholding NHS values including dignity, respect and confidentiality.
Estates/Cleaning roles: waste management, hospital bin colour schemes and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
Catering Assistant roles: food hygiene, safe food preparation, infection control and delivering a high‑quality catering service in a healthcare setting.
What qualifications will I get?
A bespoke programme delivered in partnership with whg and Walsall Manor Hospital. Accredited qualifications are gained on completion, with a guaranteed job interview included.
