Andrew is an accomplished executive with over 18 years of experience in global internal audit, financial management, risk management, and corporate governance.

Throughout his career, Andrew has established a reputation for driving operational efficiency and fostering cultures of accountability. His professional journey began at Deloitte, leading to senior leadership roles, including Senior Internal Audit Manager for Astellas Pharma Limited. Currently, he operates as an interim consultant, assisting and advising various public sector bodies on finance and internal audit activities.

Andrew is a seasoned board contributor, previously serving as a Non-Executive Director and Trustee for the Birmingham Rep Theatre. During his three-year tenure, he provided strategic oversight as a member of their Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and on their Investment Committee.

He is a qualified accountant and Certified Internal Auditor, holding an MBA alongside a comprehensive suite of specialist professional qualifications.

Andrew was appointed to the Walsall College Corporation in March 2025. He brings a wealth of expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments across both the private and public sectors. Andrew serves on the Audit & Risk Committee, where he leverages his understanding of auditing, financial management, and compliance to assist the institution to maintain the highest standards of public trust and fiscal integrity.
