Little Professors Nursery

The Little Professors Nursery at our Wisemore Campus is an ideal place to leave your little ones while you study.

We cater for children from six weeks to five years old and are open Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm to both staff and students. We offer a happy environment, where we combine the highest standards of care and education to ensure that the children develop to their full potential.

By using our nursery you can be assured that your child will receive a high standard of care, stimulation and education, by a well-qualified and professional team.

The Nursery Team

The nursery has committed and dedicated staff that will always be happy to help you or your child get the best from nursery. The staff are all qualified and experienced practitioners in child care, they also hold first aid and food hygiene certificates. Staff attend training sessions to keep their knowledge and understanding updated on a regular basis. All staff have been DBS checked. 

As a training establishment we also have a number of students within the nursery. However they are never left unsupervised.

Fostering a Child's Development

The nursery adhers to the practice guidance and the statutory guidance for the EYFS. To promote the children's development they are given a key person who is responsible for observing and planning activities for them as an individual on a daily basis whilst they are at nursery.

Nursery Aims:

  • To provide quality care and education for babies and children in a warm, safe, friendly, and caring environment in accordance with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • To provide the children with a stimulating learning environment and focus activities that cater for their individual needs in accordance to their age and stages in development.
  • To provide equal opportunities for all children and a inclusive environment and education for all.
  • To work in partnership with parents and other professional from outside agencies.
