It's not too late to enrol at Walsall College
With enrolment fast approaching, Walsall College is inviting all prospective students to come and enrol at our Wisemore Campus.
Main enrolment will begin from Thursday 21st August until Saturday 30th August at our Wisemore Campus, see full dates and times below.
General Enrolment will continue after this date and will be located over at The Hub. General enrolment is open to everyone and will include an interview with a course tutor. Some courses have limited availability but we will do our best to enrol you on your first choice course, subject to you meeting the course entry requirements.
If you have already accepted your course place - please look out for your enrolment communications in the post including your specific enrolment date/time.
The below courses are now oversubscribed and operating on a waitlist:
- Electrical
- Pathways to Construction / Building Maintenance
If you have a Special Education Need (SEN) or Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP), you will be invited to attend a 'Needs Assessment' to ensure we can meet any support needs before enrolling on any course. Please bring the relevant documents with you.
Can't decide between two or more courses or not sure what to study? Speak to one of our careers advisors. They are available during enrolment and will be happy to talk to you about the best route to achieve your career goals.
IMPORTANT - WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO ENROL?
If you are aged between 16-19, when coming to enrol, please bring the following with you:
1: Proof of Identity:
Any one of these:
- Passport
- Biometric Residence Permit
- National Insurance Card/Letter
- Certificate of Entitlement to Funding
- Bank Credit/Debit (full name must be present)
- Driving Licence
2: Residency Documents
If you are not a UK/Irish Citizen or have not been residing in the UK for the past 3 years, then you will need to provide your residency documentation.

3: Qualifications
Certificates/results slips for all of the qualifications you have achieved.
*Enrolment cannot be completed without these results. We will use these to enrol you on an appropriate level of English and Maths if you have not already achieved these qualifications.
If you are aged 19 and over, when coming to enrol, please bring the following with you:
1: Proof of identity

- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Entitlement to Funding
- Bank Credit/Debit (full name must be present)

2: Proof of entitlement to funding:
Any one of these:
- Universal Credit
- Employment Support Allowance letter (ESA)
- Proof of low wage (3 months wage slips)
- Job Seekers Allowance letter (JSA)
3: Residency Documents
If you are not a UK/Irish Citizen or have not been residing in the UK for the past 3 years, then you will need to provide your residency documentation.

4: Payment
Please note – We are currently only accepting credit/debit card payments, no cash will be accepted.
OR - Evidence of payment
- A letter from Student Finance England confirming your Student Loan approval
- A company-headed letter saying your employer is paying your course fees
Including £10.00 for your college ID card
