In partnership with IT specialists, risual and Microsoft, Walsall College has launched a state-of-the-art IT academy to help address a growing shortage of digital skills and bridge the gap between industry and education.
The risual Microsoft Academy offers digital skills training using the latest Microsoft technology, specialist qualifications and industry experts for students to develop their digital literacy skills and boost their career prospects.
The IT hub, which is only the fourth academy to open in the UK, also enables employers across the region to upskill their existing workforce to ensure businesses have the skills they need to grow and keep up with the digital demands.
The Academy is an ideal learning environment for anyone with an interest in IT – whether office based or as part of a wider, IT focussed role, such as Marketing or Finance.
