Essential Digital Skills Qualification
The Essential Digital Skills course teaches basic computer and internet skills, including the following:
- Using devices and handling information (includes how to store information)
- Creating and editing
- Communicating online (such as via Social Media)
- Transacting (buying) online activities
- Being responsible, safe and legal online.

Bloxwich Launchpad
Opening in Spring 2025, Bloxwich Launchpad is an innovative new centre at the heart of Bloxwich, dedicated to supporting local people and small businesses with digital skills and training. Funded by the Government’s Town Deal and delivered by Walsall Council, Launchpad will connect local partners to help individuals upskill, find employment support, or develop and grow their small businesses.
Walsall College will be delivering Microsoft Office introductory sessions, that will introduce you to the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, starting from Wednesday 5th March 2025 for 6 weeks
