Are you interested in the detail of how things work and how they’re put together? Then you could be on your way to a rewarding career in engineering.
Learn practical and technical skills in our engineering and manufacturing workshop, which is equipped with industry standard technology that will help you gain basic hand skills, milling, turning and surface grinding skills, as well as give you a good grasp of electrical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D modelling using Softworks.
While in our welding workshop, we have two state-of-the-art virtual reality welding simulators and five welding bays with the latest downdraft extraction tables and portable extraction, covering MIG, TIG and Arc welding. These are some of the most advanced training systems currently available and allow students to work with real 3D objects combined with virtual computer-generated images to achieve the most realistic welding experience possible.
Whether you want to go straight into employment, on to an apprenticeship or in to higher education, our engineering courses can lead to a range of progression opportunities within the sector.
