If you’d like to go to university but don’t have a Level 3 qualification or have been out of education for a while, an Access to Higher Education (HE) course at Walsall College could be your perfect next step.

These one-year courses are designed to prepare you for university by developing your academic and study skills. You’ll build confidence in areas such as essay writing, research, presentations, IT, and problem-solving. Each course is designed to give you the knowledge and qualifications you need for your chosen subject at degree level.

Our Access to HE Diplomas are recognised by universities across the UK and are a great option if you're over 19 and want to return to learning.

All courses run from September to July and are accredited by AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group.
