Paul is Deputy Head Teacher at John Willmott School in Sutton Coldfield, an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school. As a teaching professional with a background in Maths, he has extensive experience as both a teacher and a senior leader in a full range of establishments from both primary and secondary sectors, including comprehensive and vocational schools.

As a consequence of these leadership positions, Paul has a detailed understanding of how bodies such as Ofsted and the Department for Education work with schools.

Keen on keeping fit, Paul has an interest in running and cycling.

Paul was appointed to the Corporation as an Associate Governor in December 2017, moving to an External Governor position in July 2018.
