Nelson is a qualified civil and environmental engineer and sits on the board for the Dunton Group of Companies (Dunton Environmental & Dunton Technologies) where he is the Group Development Director.  Prior to joining Dunton, Nelson worked as Strategic Partnership Director for Wates Construction, sitting on the south board and leading strategy development and implementation.

He is currently reading his Executive MBA at Aston Business School.

In his spare time Nelson enjoys exercising, playing the drums, music production, youth work, coaching and mentoring.

He was appointed to the Board in August 2023.
