Helen is a qualified management accountant and established finance leader with over 20 years’ experience working across the full spectrum of complex NHS organisations including acute, mental health and performance management at a regional level.

She has extensive experience of significant organisational change and working in financial turnaround regimes and served as Executive Director of Finance at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS from 2021 to 2025.

In this capacity she led significant improvements and secured capital investment for quality, estates and digital transformation programmes. Since 2025 Helen has worked in a range of senior leadership roles including financial consultancy.

She was appointed to the Corporation in March 2025 and serves as a member of the Finance Committee.
