What is the WMCA?
The WMCA is the West Midlands Combined Authority are designed to boost the local regions economy by building a better connected, more prosperous, fairer, greener, and healthier West Midlands. Walsall College are running a number of courses that are funded by the WMCA, if you meet the criteria set below.
Free Course Eligibility
- You must live within the WMCA area (Walsall, Aldridge, Bloxwich, Wednesbury, Dudley, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Solihull, Coventry, Aston, Fordbridge, Erdington, and Sutton Coldfield) For an interactive map please visit the WMCA website.
- You are aged 19 or above on 31st August within the 2023 to 2024 funding year.
- Not have completed a Level 3 course previously or have achieved a Level 3 before 1st April 2024. See WMCA learner eligibility for full details
- Be a UK resident.
