Paul is the Principal of Boa-Digital Technologies Academy in Birmingham, which provides its students with a broad range of digital and technical skills. As a teaching professional with a background in Maths, he has extensive experience as both a teacher and a senior leader in a full range of establishments from both primary and secondary sectors, including comprehensive and vocational schools.

As a consequence of these leadership positions, Paul has a detailed understanding of how bodies such as Ofsted and the Department for Education work with schools.

Keen on keeping fit, Paul has an interest in running and cycling.

Initially appointed to the Corporation as an Associate Governor in December 2017, Paul was appointed as an External Governor in July 2018.
