Helen is a qualified management accountant and established finance leader with over 20 years’ experience working across the full spectrum of complex NHS organisations including acute, mental health and performance management at a regional level.

She has extensive experience of significant organisational change and working in financial turnaround regimes and served as Executive Director of Finance at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS from 2021 to 2025. In this capacity she led significant improvements and secured capital investment for quality, estates and digital transformation programmes.

Helen is now the Interim Chief Financial Officer at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

She was appointed to the Corporation in March 2025 and serves as a member of the Finance Committee.
