From part-time programmes to distance learning and continuous professional development courses, Walsall College have even more courses that adult learners can fit around family and work commitments.
Courses are available in a range of subjects including, Bookkeeping, Film and Video Production, Engineering, Motor vehicle and Children & Young People.
For those looking to start a career in bookkeeping, Walsall College offers an AAT Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping. Students can then progress onto an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping, which can be completed either online or on campus.
There are also new distance learning courses for those who would like to work with children and young people, which can be completed online free of charge. These include NCFE Level 2 certificate courses in Managing Behaviour that Challenges, Children and Young People, Mental Health, and Dyslexia and Other Specific Learning Difficulties.
In partnership with the University of Worcester, Walsall College has launched a brand new qualification for managers who aim to become Chartered Managers – the highest status that can be achieved in the management profession.
The Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship is designed for those charged with taking responsibility for people, projects and services to deliver long term success for their organisation.
Through taught-techniques, coaching and on-the-job training, the degree provides aspiring managers with the knowledge and skills required to become more effective in their current or future roles.
