College’s HR team shortlisted for prestigious education award
Walsall College’s Human Resources team have been shortlisted for the Pearson FE Team of the Year award.
Founded in 1998, the Pearson Teaching Award Trust aims to recognise and celebrate excellence in education. The Awards honour outstanding teams and individuals that provide learning opportunities that inspire staff and students.
Shortlisted entries will receive a visit from external assessors, who will interview members of the team nominated to find out more about the work they do and the impact it has on the college.
Winners are selected by a panel of judges for the Silver Teaching Awards, which are announced on ‘Thank a Teacher’ day, which takes place Friday 22nd June.
All Silver Award winners are then considered for a Gold Award. Successful nominees will be invited to the star-studded Pearson Teaching Awards Ceremony in London, where winners will be announced live on BBC2.
