As government guidelines on social distancing have not yet been fully lifted, we have had to further restrict the number of people we have on site on Wednesday.

Therefore, we now ask that you attend one of our college taster days instead of this open day.  Taster days are taking place over the next few weeks and you will shortly be contacted about an event specific to the course you wish to study.

This taster day will give you:

  • More quality time with your new tutors – as they show you around your classrooms, workshops, study and recreation areas.
  • A closer look and hands-on experience – when you check out some of the equipment you’ll be using and maybe even complete a mini practical activity.
  • The opportunity to say hi to new classmates – and start making friends ahead of September
  • The lowdown on wider student support – you can also get more information about student bursaries, support services and our Student Union.

If you have changed your mind about what you want to study or having second thoughts and need to explore your options?   Don’t worry, our guidance team are more than happy to chat with you (and a parent/guardian) over the phone or online and help you decide on your dream course. You can make an appointment with them here.

We aim for your Walsall College student journey to be everything you hope it will be – and more besides. Please do look out for your taster day invitation so that you can get a better idea of what your college future is going to be like.

See you soon.
