PR and Marketing Officer.
I handle the public relations activity for the college, which includes writing and issuing press releases and coordinating photo opportunities to help raise our profile in local and national media and influence key stakeholders.
I also write copy and case studies for various college marketing materials aimed at inspiring prospective students to apply for our courses.
In addition, I produce a weekly staff newsletter to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening across the college, from student success stories, staff charity ventures to the latest events taking place on campus, as well as in the local area.
The best part of my job is that I get to liaise with a variety of people, including students, parents, governors, employees from all areas of the college and the media. I also love the challenges that come with working in such a fast paced marketing department of a large organisation, as everyday has its own unique and exciting challenges
