On the day of your exam, please arrive by 8:15 am and go directly to your room

You will have received a letter telling you your room, row and seat number.

You will be asked to provide your College ID badge to confirm your attendance or photographic ID such as a driving licence/passport.

Late arrivals have to be reported to the awarding body. It is therefore of utmost importance that you arrive in good time.

Due to COVID-19, we are not able to supply stationery; it is therefore your responsibility to provide any equipment you need for your exam with you. You will also not be able to share stationery with peers and any equipment you do bring must be kept in a transparent pencil case.

  • AQA GCSE English linear (8700) candidates will need a pen and highlighters.
  • Pearson GCSE Maths candidates will need a ruler graduated in centimetres and millimetres, protractor, pair of compasses, black pen, HB pencil and an eraser.

For the calculator paper, candidates must provide their own scientific calculator, with the lid and any formulae removed. You should clear the memory on your calculator before entering the exam room.

Food will not be permitted in the exam room. If you have any special circumstances that you would like us to be aware of, please inform the Exams office prior to your exam.

A drink of water will be allowed in the exam room as long as it is in a clear container with all labels removed. Any other liquid or container will not be permitted.

Personal Belongings

It is requested that where possible, you do not bring bags to your exam.

We will provide you with a secure location for any personal items such as phone, keys, wallets etc. to be stored on the day.
