Want to work with children who have special educational needs? Are you looking to enhance your skills?
With an increasing focus on literacy, more children need support to read, spell and express their thoughts on paper. With the right support, these children can overcome these challenges and reach their full potential. But to get the right support, those providing it should have the tools to guide and nurture these children according to their educational needs.
The distance course in ‘Dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties’ has been created to help teachers and carers develop the skills and knowledge to support children with dyslexia. The qualification aims to make learners aware of the different Specific Learning Difficulties, how they are diagnosed, and how individuals can be supported.
For those who are already work in education – be it a teacher or a teaching assistant – you can use the course to help you enhance your awareness of dyslexia.
