The Level 2 Diploma is an exciting vocational course which has been designed for those interested in developing their practical music and music technology skills.
During your time on the course, you will study a range of units that are designed to give you the practical skills needed to progress within the music industry including composition, performance, music technology and music business.
You will engage with professional musicians and experience 'real world' performance contexts, gathering a portfolio of skills which will enable you to progress to further study at Level 3 and/or the world of work.

In order to secure a place on the programme, you will be required to posess:
4 GCSEs at grades D to G/GCSE grade 3 - 1 (including a curriculum-related subject), or a Level 1 related qualification.
Music performance and/or music technology experience, and an audition.
Mature students who do not have the qualifications required for entry may still be eligible, subject to an interview. Relevant experience, a strong portfolio of work and a commitment to the subject you wish to study may be acceptable for certain courses.
