Looking to enhance your career prospects in Creative Media?

This level 4 Creative Media programme is designed for progressing Level 3 students who are aiming to develop a more independent and professional approach to Creative Media Production.

This advanced course is also great for creative individuals with an interest in film & TV production and studying film context at a higher level.

Working on a range of exciting briefs and employer-led projects, you will work towards achieving an industry-level standard. This course also enables students to work practically in small groups or on their own to create:

  • Music Videos
  • Documentaries
  • In-house broadcast TV shows
  • Experimental Film
  • Narrative Film
  • Photography
  • Script Writing
  • Developing a concept for a Film
  • Examining the Industry

The course is also assessed through coursework, and there may be an opportunity to take part in a visit to Europe each year of the course.

Maths & English Requirement

English and Maths is a mandatory part of the 16-19 study programme.
If you have GCSEs in English and Maths at:

  • A* - C or 4-9 - You will continue to study English and Maths but do not have to take another exam.
  • D or 3 - You will need to resit your GCSE English and Maths at college.
  • E, F or G / 1 or 2 - You will study for Functional Skills until you get to Level 1. Then you will take GCSE English and Maths.
