Entrants onto this course will have completed the C&G 2365 or a previously recognised electrotechnical qualification at level 2 such as the 2330. Initial assessment and an interview will be part of the recruitment process and it is expected that candidates will either possess GCSE grade C in English and maths, or at least prove that they are working at that level.
Successful completion of this qualification allows progression onto apprenticeships or higher level qualifications. This qualification also forms part of the electrotechnical apprenticeship framework and can be used towards the completion of a full electrical apprenticeship.
Completion of this course allows progression onto the 2365/2357 update course, assessing you on site through a portfolio and a bridging unit to enable you to gain your ECS card.
