Want to start a career in childcare?
This course can help get you started. The aim of this Level 2 course is to prepare students to work with children between birth and five years, with knowledge of children up to seven years.
You will learn how to support the development of children and support their learning, as well as to plan and provide activities for children. You'll also develop an understanding of childrens' physical care needs, plus the importance of Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
The course is great for creative people who enjoy playing. As you'll be in a care role, you'll also need an interest or passion for helping children develop, from sparking their curiosity to learning their basic numbers, colours and words.
