It’s all in the science for talented Richu. Studying Applied Science at Walsall College has helped her discover the career and profession she wants to follow and she’s now ready to embark on an exciting journey to become a doctor.
“Studying at Walsall College gave me the opportunity to stay local. It has a welcoming atmosphere, the staff are friendly, and you get the opportunity to go on work experience related to the course you are studying. I personally feel I have achieved additional skills during my two years at Walsall College. I’m from Italy and English is not my first language, however the teachers and the college in general have helped to improve my communication skills.
“I’m finishing off the last year of my course and am already sure about my career. The course has developed my curiosity and I will be studying Biomedical Science at University. After working hours in the laboratory I feel really confident about conducting scientific experiments thanks to the amount of practice done with my tutors.
“Once I finish at Walsall College, I would like to complete my degree in Biomedical Science and am thinking of studying further to become a doctor.”
