Are you currently unemployed?

Walsall College’s Employability Team is an award winning initiative that assists people in gaining employment by providing an individually tailored training and support package.

If you are unemployed, live in and around the Walsall area, are 18 or over and are eligible to work in the UK, Walsall College has funding to assist you in accessing the training that will help you obtain a job in your chosen field*.

The Employability Team have been working closely with Jobcentre Plus, local providers and employers such as TK Maxx and Skanska, to provide pre-recruitment training. This training is tailored to the requirements of the employer and allows individuals the opportunity to up-skill / re-skill to assist them into securing sustainable employment.

In these uncertain times, it’s easy to feel concerned about your future. The current economic climate may be out of your hands but there’s so much you can do to take control of your own career and ensure you’ve got the skills that are in high demand.
