Summer Show
The hard work and huge efforts of students from Art & Design, Fashion and Graphic Design were recently showcased in the Walsall College School of Creative Arts end of year Summer Show.
The end of year exhibition has been organised by learners studying a wide range of Creative Arts courses and is a great way to showcase their talent.
Alan Tyler, Curriculum Manager for Art & Design at Walsall College said, “The exhibition was a great success, celebrating the achievements and high standard of work our students produce. They will soon be moving forward to apply their knowledge and skills on higher level courses and in the creative industries.
“Our programmes have challenged our students to direct their creative energies towards independence, originality, and innovation. Students have specialised in a number of areas including Fine Art, Photography, Textiles, Fashion, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Printmaking and 3D Design.
“This year’s show, which is the last at the St. Paul’s campus, marks an end and a new beginning as we move to the state of the art Wisemore campus over the Summer. It was an exciting and lively exhibition, showcasing a diverse range of disciplines. It is a fitting culmination to the hard work, energy and commitment from our staff and students.”
