matrix Success for Walsall College
Walsall College has recently been awarded the matrix Standard, the national quality mark for all organisations delivering information, advice and guidance services in an employer or client context.
After recently being awarded a matrix Excellence Award for providing excellent advice and guidance services, Walsall College has now been awarded the matrix Standard for the College as a whole, one of just 27 colleges across the country to achieve this benchmark.
The standard has been awarded to celebrate the College’s embedded support for learners throughout their learning journey. It is a unique quality framework to promote the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance on learning and work.
To achieve the matrix Standard, Walsall College underwent a rigorous assessment process, which involved interviewing and assessing a cross section of areas and individuals throughout the College. Feedback from the Assessors was excellent, who praised the professionalism and dedication of both learners and staff.
Amarjit Basi, Principal and Chief Executive of Walsall College said, “We are delighted to have been awarded with the matrix Standard. This award recognises the work of all those across College who provide support to our learners and demonstrates the commitment of our staff to put the learner’s interests at the centre of everything we do.
“Only a small percentage of colleges across the country have achieved this whole college accreditation, so this is a welcome accolade for Walsall College and recognition of our commitment to providing the highest standards of customer care”.
