Excellence Award for Walsall College

Matrix Standard – the nationally recognised quality mark for all organisations delivering information, advice and guidance services- has presented Walsall College with a Matrix Excellence Award.

The prestigious Matrix Excellence Awards are designed to acknowledge the tremendous achievements of organisations, which have set an outstanding example for others to follow.

One of only thirteen organisations to win this prestigious award, Walsall College has been rewarded for achieving excellence in the use of the Matrix Standard for the information, advice and guidance services it offers students. The College is being recognised for successfully demonstrating how to use the Matrix standard, inspiring others in the sector with its innovative approach.

The awards ceremony took place on 19th November at the Institute of Directors, London to celebrate those who have managed to meet the various criteria through a rigorous assessment process.

June Morrow, Director of Student Services at Walsall College said, “We are delighted to have won a Matrix Excellence Award. We work hard to provide our students with the highest quality information, advice and guidance service.

“Our Customer Advice & Support Centre in the Wisemore Campus is a highly efficient one-stop-shop for students to gain information, advice and support on all issues affecting them”.
