Reice Becomes Face of Walsall College
A Walsall College Business student recently volunteered to strike a pose and become the cover star of the College’s brand new V6 Young Persons’ Course Guide, which will be seen by thousands of young people throughout the year.
Reice McClean, aged 18, is fast becoming the face of Walsall College, after his image has been featured on the front cover of the College’s new vocational sixth form course guide. The new prospectuses are now in stock and will be readily available during our open day on Wednesday 17th November, 4-7pm.
During the open day, prospective students will not only be able to get their hands on the brand new V6 Young Persons’ Course Guide, they will also have the opportunity to obtain information, guidance and support on the best course for them, including a range of part time adult courses beginning in the New Year and Children’s University courses.
This week Amarjit Basi, Principal and Chief Executive, displayed his appreciation to Reice for starring on the cover of the new prospectus by presenting him with a framed copy of the front cover. The image used on the cover shows Reice utilising the facilities in our state of the art Roland Music Academy, which includes a specialist keyboard area, V-Drums section, recording studio and Boss suite.
Student turned model, Reice stated, “I was happy to volunteer my services as a model for the course guide. Walsall College is a great place to study and it’s extremely exciting to be part of it!”
Principal and Chief Executive Amarjit Basi added, “It is wonderful that our students are so eager to get involved promoting the College to new students and is a reflection on the community spirit that exists here.
“We have been absolutely delighted with the outcome of the V6 Young Persons’ Course Guide and feel that Reice is a fitting role model for potential V6 students, who may aspire to follow in his footsteps to become Walsall College Graduates”.
