Pink Fun for Charity!
Before half term arrived, Walsall College staff and students turned bright pink for Break Through Breast Cancer, in a day of pink-based activities.
On Thursday 21st October, Hair and Beauty students used their talents to help the charity, by offering pink nail painting and pink makeup, in return for donations.
The Salon also held a raffle, with fantastic prizes including limited edition pink GHD hair straighteners.
Other activities on the day included cake stalls and wearing pink to raise cash for the charity.
Tracey Hesson, Senior Receptionist for The Salon at Walsall College said, “Support from students and staff has been fantastic. Breast Cancer charities are close to the hearts of many people and it is great to see students using the talents they have acquired on their courses to help save lives”.
