Training Manager for construction firm Lovell Partnerships Ltd Bruce Boughton will be the guest speaker at Walsall College’s Construction Careers evening on Monday 25th February, from 6.30-7.30pm.

Lovell is a complete affordable housing specialist with over 40 years of expertise in residential construction and social housing.

Bruce has worked in the construction industry for 8 years and will talk to prospective students about the types of jobs they could pursue in the industry and the skills and qualifications required for various roles.

The free to attend event at the college’s Green Lane Campus is designed to help prospective students interested in enrolling on a Construction course, make informed decisions about whether a career in the sector is right for them. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and take part in have-a-go activities to gain an insight into what skills they would learn on a course.

The college also has an event looking at careers in the business and finance sectors the same evening (Monday 25th February) at its Wisemore Campus, followed by an evening focusing on careers in the science and computing industry on Monday 11th March.
