Creative Talents Are Made In Walsall
Supported Learning Creative Arts students from Walsall College are currently displaying their art work, in an exhibition at the Walsall Leather Museum until Friday 24th June.
The ‘Made in Walsall’ exhibition at the Walsall Leather Museum is a chance for students to display their work and share their creativity with others. There is something for everyone on display, with the work impressively ranging from visual studies, textiles, computer generated art and 3D, to print making and creative writing.
Walsall College’s Supported Learning department offers an extensive and high standard of teaching to inspire students to achieve. The inspirational department also gets students involved in specialised enrichment opportunities, which enhances their College life and builds on their social skills.
The exhibition has been running for over 10 years and is an excellent way of showcasing the talent present in the Supported Learning department, as well as raising the students’ self esteem.
Supported Learning Tutor, Jennie Jones said, “The standard of work is extremely high and is evidence of the innovative and creative work our students produce. We are very proud of the diverse work they have produced and will look forward to seeing more creative designs at next year’s show!”
