College Strives for Guidance Accreditation

Walsall College is currently applying for the Investor in Career accreditation for our career education and guidance provision.

The accreditation is based on the Investor in People model and is structured around four key elements relating to the management of Careers Education and Guidance (CEG):

• Organisation

• Commitment

• Delivery

• Evaluation

June Morrow Director of Learner Journey said: “We are determined to be the first college to achieve this award in the West Midlands. There is a lot of excellent support given to students by our tutors and our guidance team to help them achieve their career goals and develop their career management skills. In times when there are less jobs available this is increasingly important.
