Business Lecturer Jeremy Bridgman was recently presented with a top award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s (CIM) graduation ceremony.

Held in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, the graduation ceremony marked the culmination of the academic year for the Institute’s studying members.

This year, in addition to those students who received their Professional Diploma in Marketing and Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, the ceremony also celebrated the Institute’s top students worldwide in each qualification overall and in each unit.

During the ceremony, Jeremy was presented with the Hays Recruitment prize for top ‘Managing Corporate Reputation’ student in the CIM Worldwide Top Student Awards.

Jeremy commented: “I am delighted to have been chosen for such a prestigious award and am passionate about passing my knowledge onto students at Walsall College.

“For me, the best part of teaching is the interaction with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. The joy and satisfaction that I gain from helping them to achieve their qualifications and become more prepared for either continued study or the world of work is immense.”

Roderick Wilkes, Chief Executive Officer, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, commented: “The graduation is always the highlight of the Institute’s academic year and it is with pleasure that we recognise the achievements of this year’s graduating students. The qualifications undertaken ensure that our students, the next generation of top marketers, gain practical, applicable skills for the workplace set to a globally-recognised standard”.
