Chloe's designs Impress Roland
HNC Graphic Design student, Chloe Boland, has had her designs selected by Roland to be used in the Roland Music Academy.
Students competed to create designs to a live industry brief set by Roland and were tasked with creating an image that would be inspirational to students within music academies.
Students created a portfolio of designs before Roland selected an overall winner. Chloe’s designs were also recently presented to Roland President, Kaz Tanaka at the Roland head office in Swansea, who was exceptionally impressed by the standard and quality of the work. Chloe’s designs will now go on to be used in the Roland Music Academy.
This week, Principal and Chief Executive, Amarjit Basi presented Chloe with a large print of her design and the winning prize of a Roland R05 Recorder.
Chloe commented: “I enjoy listening to music, so this was a project I could really get into. My designs were inspired by the music I listen to and the research I did about what other students listen to. It was great working for a real employer; it was good to get real feedback and work to the requirements of the business”.
